Biolife Plasma Service Center is a plasma donation center located west of Costco and serving all of Southern Utah. The project consisted of approximately 15,000 square feet of slab on grade poured on an early St.George August morning. We used a laser screed to exceed the Ff and Fl requirements of Ff 35 and Fl 25 on the floors and freezer pads. The site concrete was also contracted to us; it included over 32,000 square feet of 6” thick concrete parking lot pavement. We had to overcome challenges of extremely tight access and traffic as well as an aggressive schedule during this portion of the contract. The overall contract amount was $280,000 and consisted of a 4 week schedule for the footings, stem wall and slab and an 8 week schedule for the parking pavement.

The AFFCU St.George, UT branch is located on the Corner of Sunset Blvd and Westridge Dr. This Project consisted of approximately 5,000 square feet of slab on grade, 4 drive-thru islands with 48 pipe bollards, 1,100 linear feet of curb and gutter. This project although small in comparison to others was really a challenging project to complete. It had some specific areas of emphasis for flatness with low tolerances for conduit to sit on top of the floor in a grid/tile system. We are currently on our way to completing this project within the allotted time frame.
